Numinous Light is an exhibition of 28 of my latest paintings. These paintings are a personal reflection of the complex and endless beauty of the natural world. Fleeting light produces momentary experiences, but for many of us it can form unforgettable memories. These memories envelope our senses, connecting our minds to something true and universal. I still find magic in these natural spaces, and they have become my greatest teacher. My deep love and connection to the landscape came from the consistent practice of plein air painting, backpacking, and camping. Observing and studying directly in the field is an important part of my process.
